Nursery

The Nursery is housed in a purpose designed unit which is integral with the school building, this allows for supervised access by the children to the rest of the school and in particular the Music and Drama room and the school hall, so that not only can they take part in their own events but can join the rest of the school to watch festive plays and class assemblies.

In addition to their bright airy rooms the Nursery also has an outdoor covered area to allow all children to spend a period outdoors every day in accordance with government requirements.

The nurseries present their own festive play in December and assemblies in the summer, parents are very welcome to attend these events. 

One of our school aims is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. This applies to the Nursery as well as the rest of the school and we enrich the childrens experiences at school as much as we can through special events and visitors - for the Nursery these include the Police, a fully equiped Fire Engine and an animal farm - all in the safe environment of the nursery playground.
